Our Blogging Code of Ethics
“What you are about to write will be forever etched on your permanent record as a human being”.

We at A Few Good Minds truly believe and live by this statement. It’s true that the internet is a powerful tool to gain reputation and credibility around a particular subject. It is also a place where reputation and credibility can be destroyed in an instant. Since we are a group of MBA students, both current and graduated, we think that it’s only appropriate to build a page proclaiming our sincere interest in upholding a code of ethics. This code is not unlike something that we might have learnd in one of our Graduate Business Ethics courses. Truly, it’s a universal code and shouldn’t just be used for blogging, it should be used for life. Here it is:
- A Few Good Minds MBA Blog will tell the truth, write deliberately, and with as much accuracy as possible
- A Few Good Minds MBA Blog will acknowledge when a mistake has been made, and correct it promptly
- A Few Good Minds MBA Blog will respond to emails and comments quickly and with enthusiasm
- A Few Good Minds MBA Blog will not delete any comments unless they are wildly off-topic
- A Few Good Minds MBA Blog will endeavor for high written quality and useful content in every post
- A Few Good Minds MBA Blog might disagree with other opinions, however we will do so respectfully and encourage follow-up
- A Few Good Minds MBA Blog will give credit where credit is due by linking and sourcing information
- A Few Good Minds MBA Blog will remove content and exclude participants if they advocate or encourage expressions of violence, bigotry, racism, hatred, obscenity, or profanity
- A Few Good Minds MBA Blog will post with consistent frequency and on diverse subjects as they relate to an MBA in Vancouver
